There was one for WUM but it's abandoned, and I have issues with Steam groups, so I made my own server. It's probably silly to advertise a gaming server on an art website, but this is where I have the biggest following. There's also a creative section that you can optionally enable. Money adopts and self-doxing
I feel like I'm about to do something I may regret in the future, I feel anxious, but I've been wanting to get this out of my system... So, you remember how I used to make adoptables on here and sell them for points? A few years ago, after my graduation, I got my parents to help me set up a PayPal account so I could sell adoptables for money on new accounts. Explaining the whole concept of adoptables to them took me a lot of mental effort (you'd probably laugh at the details if you knew), but they eventually agreed. I made new accounts so I wouldn't have any shame showing them to my family. I keep them family-friendly, although I may sorta channel my inner negativity into some adopts, not like it hurts anyone... The war only made things worse, as PayPal and many other websites prevented my people from using them. It took me several months before I mustered the courage to get my parents help me set up another account, this time for Boosty. I didn't want to use a subscription service
AI, lies and scamming
Chances are, you have already blocked tags related to AI, but AI imagery still shows up to you. Some AI folk deliberately leave out AI-related tags, and even spit out names of drawing and modeling software to make it look like they did the work, when I bet my ass they couldn't follow a step-by-step tutorial from a kids book. Hell, I saw one fake artist this morning in my recommendations, who profited off gullible people and bought Core. I could feel something was wrong from seeing just one picture, I've seen enough colorful AI imagery to notice patterns. How come all the art sites I know (except FurAffinity and, to a degree, Newgrounds) are plagued with technology that literally defeats the point of being an artist? Have they all gone insane after surviving Corona or what?
Newgrounds Google Safe Search tests
Context: On Newgrounds you can post NSFW art, which is hidden from guests, if those attempt to view it they'll be greeted with a page requiring them to log in and be of legal age to view it. I made 2 accounts, clean and NSFW, the clean one is my main. Now onto the subject. I remembered finding Mature-tagged DeviantArt stuff in Google years ago, although I can't remember if I had Safe Search enabled or not... But let's get back to NG. I won't say what my search queries were, but I found thumbnails for A-rated pictures and even the whole thing. You may want to ask "What search indexing setting do you have?". I checked settings, and I found no such thing. I feel this urge to apologize if you happen to stumble upon my A-rated NG art in Google with Safe Search on, but I'll stop myself right here and say "I rated the pictures properly and they're hidden from guests on NG. It's not my fault if Google leaks them."
